What is the YORVIPATH®
Pregnancy Safety Study?

The YORVIPATH Pregnancy Safety Study is designed to learn more about how taking YORVIPATH during pregnancy may affect:

  • Pregnant women
  • Babies before and after birth

This is an observational study, meaning you and your baby will continue to receive routine medical care from your own doctors. No extra visits, tests, or procedures are required.

Why Participate?

By joining this study, you may help doctors and researchers better understand the safety of YORVIPATH. Your contribution could guide future care for pregnant women and their babies. Participation is voluntary.

You may also be eligible to receive compensation after each successful data collection timepoint.

Who Can Join?

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are between 15 and 50 years old, and
  • Took YORVIPATH within 15 days before becoming pregnant, or
  • Took YORVIPATH at any time during pregnancy

What Information Will Be Collected?

Pregnancy Icon

During pregnancy:

  • Pregnancy details and estimated delivery date
  • Any complications
  • Medications taken
  • Use of alcohol, tobacco, or drugs
  • Medical History

At delivery:

  • Delivery details and complications
  • Newborn information (gender, birth weight, length)
  • Breastfeeding complications

During your baby's first year:

  • Growth and development
  • Illnesses
  • Breastfeeding status

What to Expect

  • About 50 women across the U.S. will participate.
  • Participation may last up to 21 months: 9 months of pregnancy + 12 months after birth.
  • You will be contacted:
    - Once per trimester
    - At delivery
    - When your baby is 3, 6, 9, and 12 months old

At each time point, you'll share basic information and confirm your contact details.

Privacy Protection

Your personal and medical information will remain confidential. All identifying details will be removed before data is used for research.

About YORVIPATH

YORVIPATH is an FDA-approved treatment for hypoparathyroidism in adults. However, there is not enough information yet to establish the safety of Yorvipath in pregnancy. This registry helps gather important information about its use during and after pregnancy to better understand effects on mothers and babies.
